Edward Yedid and Thomas Hickey, co-founders of GRADE New York, are both driven by a common vision of design and interior design, which they believe should be orderly, clear, and clever.

After the completion of a penthouse in the heart of West Village which we presented to you last June, we are proud to introduce a new intimate address with a breathtaking view of Miami Beach. The New York architecture agency has worked on the complete renovation of a 510 square meter apartment with a large terrace and a pool. Our American workshops had the privilege of accompanying Edward Yedid and Thomas Hickey in the creation of many projects, and on this site, they entrusted us with several upholstery and drapery works to decorate the many rooms of the residence.

The apartment's lounge is revealed through bold colors and great natural lighting. The furniture is minimalistic, as if imbued with a timeless poetry that blends with the surrounding landscape. Around the coffee table designed by British creator Max Lamb, there is a collection of furniture, such as an elegant woven rattan armchair signed by Rogan Gregory, an American artist represented by the R & Company gallery, or a solid white oak side table from the Ben & Aja Blanc studio. Our craftsmen skillfully upholstered a custom-made sofa in Chase Erwin's Freyja Frost fabric. The second lounge also houses a large collection of furniture. Sunlight enters through large windows, sweeps the space, and highlights the texture of each surface. We discover a very original coffee table with a fan-shaped structure designed by Dimorestudio. Our upholsterers restored two Poltrona lounge chairs in a cotton fabric from the FJ Hakimian house, specializing in handwoven fabrics by craftsmen worldwide. They are accessorized with decorative cushions made from linen fabrics from the French studio Élitis.

The master bedroom of this sublime penthouse, which combines elegance and sobriety, was partly decorated by our craftsmen who had the opportunity to create a beautiful sofa with an oak frame, upholstered in a fabric from Maison Elitis. Its green color blends perfectly with the pastel tones of this setting, which inspires relaxation and serenity. Our French teams also participated in the project by making the beautiful circular Donut bench, designed by Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier, combining modernity and technicality.

The sublime custom-made flexible space that is the media room is expressed through calming autumnal shades. This room promises comfort and tranquility. Our upholsterers collaborated with Le Studio Anthost to create a beautiful corner sofa, with several drawers in stained oak. It was upholstered by our workshops in a linen fabric with machine-embroidered motifs from India.

Our installers have installed various custom-made creations such as curtains or Roman blinds to decorate the windows of the apartment, as well as wall-upholstery in different rooms, including the bedrooms, kitchen, and media room. Each of these upholstery works have been carefully and meticulously crafted by our craftsmen with passion, aiming to make this penthouse a warm and family-friendly living space.
