From May 12th to June 9th 2016, Jouffre attended the 44th annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House. Designers Jamie Drake and Caleb Anderson, at Drake/Anderson, submitted to us their ambitious project of creating a luxurious and sophisticated bedroom. Our ateliers created for them two unique "chaise longues" upholstered in a silk velvet. A complex work that required hundreds of hours of work to reach the designers’ expectations and vision.

Our team composed of two artisans from France also upholstered the walls in a Romo fabric. Jamie Drake and Caleb Anderson gave us the opportunity to use centuries-old technique of gainage to cover the baseboard and crown molding in the same fabric.

Finally, the New York based design studio offered us the opportunity to fabricate the window and bed treatment for the entire room. Draperies, made in the Romo fabric are lined in an extraordinary silk fabric.

The Kips Bay Decorator Show House is located at the Carlton House Townhouse, 19 East 61st Street (between Madison & 5th Avenue).
