Created in 2002 by the National Institute of Crafts, the European Days of Crafts take place in Spring each year. This year, these days highlight the theme “Our hands in unison” and will take place from March 2022. This event, celebrated in France and Europe, aims to promote craftsmanship and offers the larger public an immersion in this sector which is too often left in the shadows.
On the occasion of the 15th edition of the European Days of Crafts, our workroom have the pleasure of opening their doors from Thursday, March 31th to Sunday, April 03th, to honor our savoir-faire and share the passion that drives us with the greatest number of people. We give visitors the opportunity to discover our upholstery craft in the workroom where our craftsmen create both custom-made furniture pieces and unique window decorations for our interior architects and designer clientele.
Young people and adults alike will have the opportunity to discover the different steps of realizing a project: from the 3D modeling work done in our Design and Methods Studio, to the frame of an armchair all the way through covering it in foam and fabric with our team in the upholstery workroom, as well as making curtains by our seamstresses in the drapery workroom. Our upholsterers will be happy to share with you their story and their savoir-faire in order to immerse yourself in their daily life.
