An ultra contemporary and innovative hotel in central London. Project carried out alongside Philippe Starck in 2000.
“The drape of his fabrics is just right. That’s what I thought when I met Charles Jouffre. And that was good news, because everything used to be badly draped, which pained me. Jouffre is our magician and charmer, and we lose ourselves in the folds and recesses of his delectable drapes. Lucky us.”> Visit website
For this unusual project, Jouffre worked for many months on developing wave-like sheer curtains, which have since become a stylistic effect coveted by the foremost designers. More than 9,800 ft of fabric were made in the ateliers, and fitted on over three miles of electric curtain tracks.
